Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts, OT varies. No Swing Shifts.

Position Overview:

Canton Drop Forge, a leading producer of large, closed die forgings in Canton, Ohio, is seeking an Ohio-Licensed High-Pressure Boiler Operator to join our team within our Powerhouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• The operation, inspection, and maintenance of stationary engines and mechanical equipment to provide utilities for buildings and industrial processes.
• Read meters and gauges at specified intervals to verify operating conditions.
• Record and analyze data and operations.
• Adjust and maintain equipment controls within necessary guidelines
• Perform water titration tests and pour additives
• Communicate with Production for Steam and Boiler levels.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the Powerhouse for extended periods.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders throughout shift.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and crawl.
• Ability to wear respirator as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ohio High-Pressure Boiler Operator licensure.
• Must be able to work any shift as assigned within unionized role.
• Able and willing to work overtime as required.
